If I DO buy a tag, what do I get with my registration?

You get to:

• Register your pet and create their special profile with all their most important info (your contact details, vet info and your pet's medical info)
• Create as many pet profiles as you like
• Share "Lost pet info" to your social networks 
• Enjoy benefits and discounts with our current and upcoming brand pawtners
• Quickly discover vets, pet friendly accommodation, groomers, rescue centres and much more.
• Increase the chances of your pet been reunited safely and quickly with you because of the info that can be picked up from simply scanning the pet's tag with a smartphone. 

If I DON'T buy a tag, what do I get with my registration?

• You still get to: Register your pet and create their special profile with all their most important info (your contact details, vet info and your pet's medical info)
• Create as many pet profiles as you like
• Share "Lost pet info" to your social networks 
• Enjoy benefits and discounts with our upcoming pawtnerships
• Quickly discover vets, pet friendly accommodation, groomers, rescue centres and much more.

Will I be able to change my pet's info for free after I've created their profile?

You can change your pet's info on their profile whenever you like, as many times as you like, free of charge.

What if I don't have a smartphone to scan the tag?

If you don't have a smartphone, you can call our friendly support team on +27873300920 (the number can also be found on the back of the tag) or input the pet ID from the tag manually on the Home page of our website.

You can then view the pet's profile, which includes all the pet parent's necessary contact details.

Why can't I track my pet in real-time?

We did consider a real-time tracking app, but due to safety concerns we decided against it. We didn't want any of our family members being lured to dodgy and dangerous places by opportunistic criminals.

Am I going to be surprised with hidden fees?

No, we pride ourselves on being transparent. There'll be no nasty financial surprises when you're a member of the MyKittyPup family.

Can I wait for my pet to go missing, and then upgrade from a "tagless" to a "tagged" profile?

You can upgrade any time you like. Unfortunately, if your pet is already missing, you won't be able to put a MyKittyPup tag on their collar.

What if my pet's tag gets lost or damaged?

All you need to do is buy a new tag and link it to your pet’s profile. It’s that simple!
